Check out some of my new work from the start of 2025.
Radiant
A warm and peaceful evening at Pismo Beach, CA. There was a thick layer of condesation which created a great atmosphere for photos. One of my recent favorites.
Beacon
An unforgettable moment as fog enveloped Pigeon Point Lighthouse. This particular shot reminds me of a dream with the fog blurring the detail of the lighthouse.
Low Tide
My favorite local beach. I try to challenge myself to find new compostions as I shoot here all the time. The low tide and low sand levles this time of year revealed a rocky underlayer which is often covered. Shot from Shell Beach, CA.
Serenity
I rarely photograph mid-day but the large clouds helped create a soft glow. I love this scene and this location. One of my favorite stretches of the California Coast - Garrapata State Park.
Take Two
This was my second take of photographing this scene. The sunset the previous eveing was a bust, but I was able to find this compostion and vowed to come back when the light was better. Lucky enough, the next evenign was spectacular.
Sea Layers
I love how these layers of shoreline look almost like a vast mountian range. Taken from the shores of Monterey, CA.
Dream Land
One of my local spots, this scene was a joy to photograph as the weather and conditions were amazing.
Fly Over
A seagull soaring over the ocean as waves smashed the cliffs. I love the small details in this photo - the sea cave, the birds perched on the cliffs, the light highlighting the splash of the wave.
Appreciation
Sunset at Pismo Beach, CA. The atmosphere this evening was amazing. I imagine the people on the Pier were taking it all in, appreciating the beauty of a sunset on the Pacific.
Garrapata Grandeur
An awe-inspiring scene from Garrapata State Park.
The Cove
Gorgeous light bathing the pebbly shoreline of Pismo Beach, CA.
Bathed in Gold
The Pismo Pier bathed in golden light.
Cliffs of Sur
A spectacular sunset from the cliffs of Garrapata State Park.
Shark Fin
The famous Shark Fin Cove. I loved the atmosphere created by the incoming fog.
