Bliss

No word better describes the feeling of watching the sun set over the Pacific on a warm evening. It was such a beautiful night, moments like this make me feel truly grateful.

I never get tired of the view from this beach. Such a stunning place to meander around and photograph. Shot from Marshall's Beach.

Gray Whale Cove

I never knew the name of this location, but this stretch of coastal highway always inspires me. Lovely soft, warm light as the sun inched closer to the horizon.

Morro Masterpiece

Not much to say here as the sunset was epic. I had wanted to catch a good sunset at Morro Bay for a while and this evening I lucked out.

Beauty of Big Sur

A picture-perfect location along Highway 1. This isn't the first time I have photographed this location and it certianly won't be the last. It may look peaceful, but the wind was gusting!

Ultraviolet

A spectacular winter sunset from Shell Beach. Out of nowhere clouds started forming late in the day so I visited a favorite location of mine, and was treated to an unexpected color explosion.

Overwatch

This large "mountain" in the middle of the canyon was a key element I focused on throughout the morning at Zabriskie Point. It was fun to watch hikers meander through these colorful badlands.

Winter Delivers

Gorgeous light bathing the shoreline of Pismo Beach, CA. My favorite aspect of this photo is the reflected color on the water.
