Waves of Wonder

Powerful waves charging the shore in Pacifica, CA. The conditions this evening were spectacular. One of my personal favorites. 

The Perfect Curl

Some of the most photographic waves I have seen. It was a stunning morning capturing waves from the Pismo Pier. I could watch waves like this all day long. 

Engulfed 

These waves were absolutely monstrous. Some the prettiest waves I've ever seen, captured in Carmel, CA. I felt like a kid in a candy shop. 

Charge

Waves battering the rugged shoreline of Monterey in early morning light. Really love how this shot turned out as this one was completely unplanned. 

Above the Spray

A bird flying above the aftermath of twenty foot wave in Carmel, CA. These were some of the largest waves I have seen. I especially like the colors and atmosphere of this photo.

Spindrift

I learned what the term "spindrift" meant on this evening. The large waves and soft offshore winds created some photogenic conditions. 

Charging Ahead

A turquoise wave charging towards the shoreline. I used a slower shutter speed to give the viewer a sense of motion.
